Woman’s Missionary Union® is an organization which strives to challenge Christian believers to understand and be radically involved in the mission of God. Since its beginning in 1888, WMU has been true to its basic purpose: missions.
WMU strives to meet Christians' needs and interests by providing missions information, resources, organizations, and opportunities. WMU, through its Web sites, hopes to encourage and enable Christians to become involved in missions, both individually and as a member of a Christian group. WMU has provided missions-related information online since 1996.
The women of Faulkville Baptist Church are proud to be affiliated with WMU and its missions. Please join us for fellowship and fun as we work together to help others, while sharing the love of Christ. We meet monthly on the second Thursday at 7:00 p.m. - visit the Church Calendar for meeting details.
Our Faulkville Baptist WMU ladies group has proudly participated in many different outreach efforts over the years. We have reached out to the homeless, pregnancy centers to support-life-affirming choices and promote healthy relationships by serving and caring for women and families in pregnancy-related circumstances, collected food for families during the holiday season, made gift boxes for our military serving over-seas, along with many other projects.
As outreach efforts arise, details will be posted here as well as in the Weekly Church Bulletins - please be a part of these outreach efforts if you are able. You will surely feel blessed by being a part of such wonderful projects.
